Gotland wool is fine, long, lustrous and dense. It can be varying shades of grey, from pale silver to a rich blue-gray to a dark charcoal or almost black. Gotland are intelligent sheep, which in itself, can be problematic, but if you learn to work with them, you can co-exist without too much stress. They will stay within their territory. I haven't had any ewes that have left the farm yet. (The rams aren't given the opportunity).
